A few words about us

My name is Olga Jamieson. Rooted in the heart of the Highlands, in well known village of Drumnadrochit,  i spin yarn from raw fleeces sourced from traditional British sheep breeds - each fleece hand selected and ethically processed by me in my studio. Every step, from washing and carding to spinning, is done by my hands with care and respect for the animals and the land they come from.

Using this hand spun yarn, I weave a variety of unique textiles  - from richly textured rugs to soft durable scarfs - on my Cranbrook floor loom.

I also create  rag rugs from up cycled fabric, often drawing inspiration from ancient folk designs and traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations.

Each piece tells a story of heritage, sustainability and craftsmanship. Nothing is rushed, nothing is wasted - just honest, slow made textiles, crafted from the ground up.

As my work grows, i am excited to begin offering classes in my village - sharing the skills of hand spinning and weaving with others.

From spinning raw fleece to exploring different rug making techniques, i hope to create a space where people can connect with traditional crafts, and experience the joy of making something lasting with their own hands.
